Bourbon Cranberry Sour

This holiday season I am enjoying trying new cocktail recipes, it keeps cocktail hour interesting and I love to research and try out new cocktails. Gathering beautiful glasses makes for an extra special cocktail hour. Cheers

INGREDIENTS

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

1 cup fresh cranberries

2 ounces bourbon

Ice

1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice

1 egg white

3 drops Orange Bitters

3 drops aromatic bitters

Directions:

  1. Bring water to a boil, add in sugar and stir until dissolved. Add in fresh cranberries, cook for an additional 5 minus. Remove from heat and cool.

  2. In a cocktail shaker add all ingredients except ice. Shake vigorously to create foam. Add in ice and shake to chill. Pour in glass and garnish with rosemary and cranberry sprig.

    Yields: 1 Serving
