Rosebud Cocktail

Rose infused simple syrup gives a unique twist to this Rose Bud Cocktail. A perfect drink to serve for Valentines Day or anytime you want to celebrate the loves of your life.. Made with a combination of gin, Lillet Blanc, simple syrup, benedictine and orange bitters this cocktail will warm your heart and may make you blush too.

INGREDIENTS

Drink

2 ounces gin

1/2 ounce Lillet Blanc

1/2 ounce Rose Infused Simple Syrup

1/4 ounce Benedictine

4 drops Orange Bitters

Rose Infused Simple Syrup

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

1 tablespoon dried rose buds (natural)

DIRECTIONS

Yield 1 Cocktail

  1. In a medium saucepan, add sugar, water and dried roses, bring to boil a rolling boil for 2 minutes. Cool and reserve in a glass jar.

  2. Add ice to cocktail mixing glass, add in gin, Lillet Blanc, simple syrup, Benedictine and 4 drops of orange bitters.

  3. Serve in a coupe glass and garnish with dried rose bud
