A twist on a classic cocktail. This recipe is a twist on a classic gin cocktail, equally delicious but with a taste of the Bluegrass. Serve in an ice filled glass, sit on your front porch with friends and raise a glass to summer. Pairs perfectly along with my Summer Squash Pizza.
INGREDIENTS
2 ounces bourbon
1/2 a lime cut into 3 wedges and more for garnish
Lime flavored sparkling water
DIRECTIONS
- Fill glass with ice, squeeze each wedge of lime in the the glass, add in the wedges, bourbon and top off with lime flavored sparkling water.
- Stir to combine. Garnish with lime wedges as wanted. Cheers!
Yield: 1 cocktail
