2 oz Kentucky bourbon

¾ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

¾ oz honey syrup (equal parts honey and water)

Instructions

Prepare the honey syrup by combining equal parts honey and warm water. Stir until fully dissolved and allow to cool.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add bourbon, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and honey syrup.

Shake vigorously until well chilled.

Fill an Old Fashioned glass with fresh ice.
