Paloma

Winter grapefruit is so juicy and sweet and not just for breakfast anymore. My version of a the traditional Paloma takes a curious turn, the addition of bitters and the swap of tequila for vodka makes or a delicious twist.

INGREDIENTS

2 ounces vodka

1/2 ounce maple syrup

2 drops grapefruit bitters

2 ounce freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

Slice of grapefruit cut in half for garnish

Lemon wheel slice for garnish

Ice

Cocktail shaker

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add ice, vodka, maple syrup and grapefruit juice to cocktail shaker, shake until combined and chilled.

  2. Pour into ice filled glass and add 2 drops of grapefruit bitters, stir to combine, garnish with grapefruit and lemon. Cheers.

    Yield: 1 serving
