Winter grapefruit is so juicy and sweet and not just for breakfast anymore. My version of a the traditional Paloma takes a curious turn, the addition of bitters and the swap of tequila for vodka makes or a delicious twist.
INGREDIENTS
2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce maple syrup
2 drops grapefruit bitters
2 ounce freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
Slice of grapefruit cut in half for garnish
Lemon wheel slice for garnish
Ice
Cocktail shaker
DIRECTIONS
- Add ice, vodka, maple syrup and grapefruit juice to cocktail shaker, shake until combined and chilled.
- Pour into ice filled glass and add 2 drops of grapefruit bitters, stir to combine, garnish with grapefruit and lemon. Cheers.
