Blueberry Lemon Vodka Sparkle
Hot summer days or nights always call for a refreshing cocktail.
Fresh blueberries, lemon slices, and my favorite vodka Castle and Key create the perfect combination. The beautiful color of this drink is created by the crushed blueberries. Add a fresh sprig of rosemary for a surprising and intoxicating fragrance with each and every sip.
INGREDIENTS
8 blueberries
1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce simple syrup
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
Tonic or soda water
Lemon slices, for garnish
Sprig of rosemary, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Pour simple syrup, lemon, blueberries in bottom of glass, muddle lightly to release the blueberry juices.
Add vodka and stir until blended, fill glass with ice and top off with tonic water.
Garnish with lemon slices and rosemary sprig.
Yield: 1 cocktail
