Kentucky Mule Cocktail

There is nothing I like more than taking a classic cocktail and giving it my own twist. This version of a Mule calls for Kentucky bourbon instead of vodka. Not wanting to stray too far from original recipe, I used freshly squeezed lime juice and high quality, ginger beer to top it off. The Kentucky Mule is so easy to make.

Serve it in a copper mug to keep it chilled, garnished with lime wedges and blackberries for an added touch.

INGREDIENTS

2 ounces Kentucky bourbon

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice

High quality ginger beer, Gosling’s is my preference

2 lime wedges
