Tomato Jam & Bacon Pinwheels

INGREDIENTS

1 package (17.0 ounce) puff pastry, thawed in refrigerator

1/2 cup Tomato Jam, more if needed

1 package of peppered bacon fried and crumbled

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper

  3. Roll out thawed sheet of puff pastry onto floured surface. Rotate sheet and roll for even thickness.

  4. Spread Tomato Jam onto entire sheet of puff pastry, sprinkle half of the cooked and crumbled bacon on top of Tomato Jam. Carefully roll into “log”, wrap in plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Slice chilled log into individual pinwheels. Place evenly onto cookie sheet and bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Yield: 24 pieces
